For the "Learning and Playing" topics are short lists of questions you might want to ask yourself when you consider using the different kinds of early learning software, accompanied by examples of software features you might want to look for. There is also a short checklist for each concept designed to help you focus on some important aspects of the children's learning experience.

For the "Integrating Technology" topics, there are concrete examples of the kinds of issues you might want to think about when you plan to integrate computers into your program. There are also some suggestions for charts you might want to use to keep track of what your class is doing with computers.
